The Falstad materials won the 2008 Physics Classics Award

This extensive collection of physics and math java applets is the work of Paul Falstad. The topics covered include waves, oscillations, sound, electricity and magnetism, quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and vector calculus. Each of these simulations is highly visual, providing new ways for students to experience physics. The simulations allow students to change parameters and interact with the environment being modeled and most include a wide range of pre-developed examples. Help is also provided on the options and physics included with each simulation.
